FROM STARTUP TO UNICORN

In 2015, I joined the company as Head of Design, being the founding member alongside four professionals from the tech and banking. Simultaneously, I took on the interim position of Head of Product until a suitable replacement was found. Leveraging the combined expertise in banking, tech, and design, we established our core mission: to innovate the credit system. Our philosophy revolved around the belief that the essence of credit lies in trust. In line with this principle, we initiated P2P lending, enabling everyone to function as a credit issuer.

By 2016, with robust funding support, our company experienced rapid growth. Opting for aggressive customer acquisition, we aimed to assert our presence in the market and signal to potential competitors, especially tech giants, that we were pioneering this new space.

In 2017, with a solid market track record and a growing customer base, the company expanded to nearly 1000 employees and broadened its services to include comprehensive financial offerings. I undertook the restructuring of the design team and processes to accommodate this growth and align with our future endeavors.

In 2018, within a mere four years, we achieved the unicorn status, navigating through challenges and learning from failures. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this incredible journey, leading design efforts that aimed to positively impact the business, customer experience, and foster innovation.
